Born Phoebe Halliwell on November 2nd 1975 she is the youngest daughter of Patty Halliwell and Victor Bennett. After Grams died Phoebe reluctantly return to San Francisco to live with Prue and Piper in the house they inherited. After Phoebe discovers the Book of Shadows in the attic and recites an incantation, their lives are changed forever. From that moment on the sisters have their unique powers. Phoebe embraces her newfound power wholeheartedly whilst Prue and Piper are weary of theirs. Phoebe is eager to learn and has considerable success making potions and casting spells. Phoebe eventually goes back to college and earns a degree in psychology, however that still doesnt find her steady employment until she gets a job as an advice columnist for the Bay Mirror newspaper.
Phoebe is a 'live for today' type of gal even though her heart is in the right place. Her curious and impulsive manner can be sometimes be mistaken for irresponsibility and immaturity. Phoebes return to the family home ensured lots of sparks between her and Prue it didnt help matters that Pru was under the impression that Phoebe had a thing for her ex-fiance Roger. Prue and Phoebe were as different as chalk and cheese, Prue would often view her open-minded, free spirited sister as reckless. However, the two were brought closer together after accepting the responsibilities of being Charmed Prues death cemented Phoebes transition into the courageous young women she is today. The arrival of her younger half-sister Paige saw a reversal of roles with Piper as Phoebe had to mediate between of the often bickering Piper and Paige.
Love really is blind, when it comes to affairs of the heart with Phoebe, however it is not that Phoebe needs to get her eyes tested. Phoebe has dated some hot guys and once at the hots for Leo. Phoebe has a habit of attracting bad boys and is a sucker for a pretty face. Phoebes love life seemed on the up when she fell for the gorgeous Assistant Director Attorney, Cole Turner. Upon discovering that Cole was in fact an evil half demon who wanted to kill The Charmed Ones didnt help their relationship. But in the end Phoebes inherent good won over Coles evil side and he gave up his evil ways for her. Their relationship was put to the test over and over agin but it only made the pair stronger. Eventually evil stepped in when Cole became the source of all evil, Cole attempted to give up his position as the Source to an evil wizard, but Phoebe used her unborn childs powers to kill the source. She then joined Cole to rule the underworld as his Queen, however Phoebe cant ignore the good in her and rejoined her sisters and together vanquised Cole. The seer took Phoebes unborn to child to raise as her own until, he could rule the underground this plan failed when they vanquished the seer and the unborn child. Things started to look up for Phoebe again when she got together with Jason Dean, her new boss at the Bay Mirror. Jason distances himself from Phoebe when he discovers her magical identity, saying he needs to concentrate on the the merger.
When Phoebe decides to take a sabbatical from work Elise hires a ghost writer, Leslie St. Claire who Phoebe later falls in love with. Phoebe then gained a romantic interest in the magic schools litteratur teacher, Drake. Drake was destined to die to die after weeks, but he managed to fulfill his mission which was to restore Phoebes faith in love which he was sent to do by Cole. Phoebe now has the chance to get her normal life back after she and her sisters destoyed the demon Zanku and the nexus. The magical world and the normal world think she is dead.
Premonition
This was Phoebes first magical ability to manifest itself. It enables her to see into the future and the past. Initially Phoebe was upset that she didnt have an active power but has come to release that her power is very important to The Charmed Ones.
Levitation
This was Phoebes second power it enables her too hover in the air, but not fly. She has incorporated her levitation into her martial arts which has come in very handy when it comes to kicking demon ass.
Empathy
With this power, Phoebe is able to sense and react to other peoples feelings. She even knows what someone is feeling before they do.
